✨ Newborn Photoshoot Guide ✨

Photography Studio Hours & Guidelines

Photography studio hours: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Lunch break: 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM

Doors open 5 minutes before the start of business in the morning and after the lunch break. Photographers cannot stay longer during lunch time or after the end of the working day.

📸 How the Photoshoot Works

At the beginning of the session, you and the photographer will choose the wraps and overall style for your baby.

For each wrap, one shooting option is available — on a physical background, on a digital background, for photos with parents, or we skip the wrap and create photos with the baby’s hands and feet together with the parents’ hands.

👉 To make the process faster, you can think in advance about which shooting options you like best (studio background, digital background, family photos, or detail shots of your baby).

Physical backgrounds are selected in the studio, while digital ones can be chosen later when you receive the raw photos, 4 days after the session.

It’s not possible to do just 1–2 family photos or 1–2 detail shots of your baby, because each of these requires full preparation: lighting, background setup, posing, and capturing a variety of angles so you’ll have plenty of beautiful shots to choose from. We truly don’t mind doing this 😁 — we love our work and always strive for quality. That’s why family photos or detail shots are treated as full sets during the photoshoot.

After the selection, you’ll have time to gently undress your baby and change the diaper while the photographer prepares the accessories and details for the shoot. There’s no need to do this on the couch or in the car — the studio provides a comfortable space and time for your baby’s preparation.

The photoshoot begins with family portraits together with the parents, followed by tender and memorable individual photographs of your newborn.

During the photoshoot, the photographer works one-on-one with the newborn or in the presence of only one adult without children. One accompanying adult is the maximum allowed to avoid unnecessary noise and distractions, because the baby’s safety is the top priority.

🍼 Preparing for the Session

It’s very important that your baby is sound asleep during the session.

Finish feeding your baby 25–30 minutes before the photoshoot starts. This allows time for burping and helps your baby fall asleep peacefully.

If feeding ends just 5 minutes before the shoot or happens in the studio, your baby won’t have enough time to burp, may feel discomfort, cry, and won’t be able to sleep.

😴 Variety of Poses

To capture more beautiful photos with open arms and legs, your baby must be in a deep sleep. If you’re unsure your baby will sleep deeply enough, it’s best to extend the session time in advance. On the day of the shoot, this option will not be available.

🧣 Baby Clothing

The best option is to bring your baby in a diaper, wrapped in a blanket. This saves time and helps avoid unnecessary clothing changes that may disturb your baby’s sleep.

🎀 What to Bring

• a bottle of milk (even if you are breastfeeding — please pump some in advance, as sometimes just a few sips help calm the baby),

• 2–3 pacifiers

🚫 No Stroller Needed

There’s no need to bring a stroller into the studio

👗 Parent Clothing

For photos with your baby, please wear solid-colored clothing without prints or bright patterns. This makes the photos look timeless and harmonious, keeping the focus on you and your baby.

⏰ Timing and Punctuality

Other clients are scheduled before and after your session. Please arrive on time.

The duration of your photoshoot depends on the package you’ve chosen and will be conducted strictly during your booked time slot.

If you are late, your session will be shortened by the amount of time you were late.

💳 Payment

Payment is made on the day of the photoshoot.

We accept:

• cash,

• Zelle,

• credit and debit cards (+3% processing fee for card payments).

🎨 Background Selection

Link with examples of studio and digital backgrounds that you can choose in advance.

In the studio, even more color options are available — the most important thing is to define the style you like best.

Physical backgrounds can be chosen before your photoshoot, and you can confirm your choice with the photographer on the day of the session. Please note that once the photoshoot is completed, physical backgrounds cannot be used as digital ones.
